Some Personal Safety Advice for College Students

Have you ever taught your children to truly pay attention?

Are you actually sure your kids listened to you?

So we have all known stories about children going to college or university and something occurred. This news we hear everyday. We are anxious about them knowing the way to care for themselves.

My parents were great for providing us with what he called “what if”. So what if once you were going down the road and you imagined somebody was following you then what would you do? So, having six children my father would place himself at the table and speak what if our house was on fire and I was behind the stairs, and you could not even see me, so would you jump when I told you? My father always understood what he required to develop with every one of his children, trust, street smarts.

So book smart is a thing you can learn about anytime, but street smart is a thing you have to be acquainted with and practice every single day.

Print this idea out for your children. Play “what if” as you are driving your car, watching TV, till your kid is young enough.

THINK parents told you to employ Common Sense. Today is the right time to listen.

Try to PAY ATTENTION to things around you. Just take a test and walk past somebody and then see if you can describe of that person if something happened. One more test for you is a license number and and the model of the auto It’s a really great game which can be played anytime going in a bar.

Choose a Self Defense Program. You know you must have some gym class so choose self Defense. This one will always assist you. This class may be the most essential one you ever take.
